哈利·H. Henney的35 & 珍妮特Henney Department of 教育 at 曼彻斯特 prepares students for excellence in the field of teaching. Students have a variety of majors from which they can choose, including 教育al Studies and teaching degrees. Because of the rigorous program, 曼彻斯特 successfully graduates effective professionals ready for diverse settings working with children and young adults.

The 教育 Program embraces the University's liberal arts program, as well as the State of Indiana's requirements for licensing. 曼彻斯特 is accredited by CAEP, the Council for the 认证 of Educator Preparation.

During the last academic year, the 225 students enrolled in education classes had more than 350 student field experiences that totaled more than 27,000 hours of classroom experience.

The 曼彻斯特 University Teacher 教育 program also is known for high expectations in student teaching. Its graduates are highly regarded, as indicated by a constant 90+ percent placement rate over the past five years. Students involved in the 教育al Studies program complete engaging internships based on their own career goals. Many find employment in childcare programs, YMCA coordinators, etc.
